Comedia Louis C.K must really hate Donald Trump.
The well-known comedian Louis C.K didn’t leave much room for imagination when he compared U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump to deceased Nazi leader Adolf Hitler.
The stand-up star on Saturday urged fans and Trump's supporters to desist from voting for the Republican front-runner, calling him "dangerous" and an "insane bigot," according to CNN.
"It was funny for a little while. But the guy is Hitler. And by that I mean that we are being Germany in the 30s," C.K wrote in E-Mail that was meant to promote his web series "Horace and Pete."
In his fiery text, the comedian added that voting for the brash millionaire real estate mogul would constitute "a version of national suicide."
C.K., who spent several of his early childhood years in Mexico, implored readers against voting for Trump, comparing the casting of ballots in his favor to the dangerous "rush" of taking illicit drugs. Votes for Trump is like taking "a big hit off of a crack pipe," CNN quoted him as saying.
While the comedian underlined that he was not pushing for Democratic hopefuls Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders, he stated that in his opinion, Trump did not represent the "good smart conservative" he would like to see represent the Republican nominee.
"Trump is not that. He's an insane bigot. He is dangerous," C.K. asserted.
