Nintendo's next major step in gaming is no more a big secret.
The hardware formerly known as "NX" is now officially dubbed Switch, and here it is.
Switch is a transforming console/handheld hybrid that can be pulled apart into a portable gaming system. It's powerful enough to run the heaviest games, and also features its own, detachable micro-controllers for more party-like settings.
This first look at the system also highlights some of the upcoming games, including peeks at The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, a new and highly anticipated 3D Mario game and first time on Nintendo – third-party releases like Skyrim and NBA 2K17.
In the meantime, you can watch their official introduction video here:
Expect Nintendo to share plenty more details before Switch arrives in March 2017.
