China released its HSBC PMI Manufacturing today , which came in at 50.9 compared to 50.5 expected . This shows that their production economy grows . Japanese stocks rose with the Nikkei closing 0.42% higher after the PMI data and how companies reported strong earnings growth expectations , including Hitachi and LG Household and Health Care Ltd.
