Rex Tillerson fired from Secretary of State position.
The run of Tillerson as the secretary of state can’t be called smooth and, after their tension between him and Trump broke, Tillerson was freed from the position his was occupying.
The following opinion is quite popular: Rex Tillerson will be remembered as the worst secretary of state. Well, one of the worst, anyway. He had no diplomatic experience prior to his position in the White House and that, of course, raised a few eyebrows. Tillerson was the one, proposing all the additions to the military budget and cutting the state department budget.
Trump also wasn’t very shy to talk bad about Tillerson in public, so it was of no surprise that he lost his position. According to the President Mike Pompeo – the current head of the CIA is going to occupy the place of Tillerson. And Gina Haspel will, in her order occupy the CIA head’s office – she will become the first woman to do so.
Allegedly, Tillerson found out about the firing via Trump’s tweet.
Political crisis between Russia and Great Britain deepens.
There May is aiming to show teeth in the recent conflict between May’s office and Putin’s regime in Russia. So far it is unknown what May will do to punish Russian government over the alleged poisoning of a former spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia.
So far May’s plans are to meet with her security officers to see whether Russian officials have come up with an answer good enough to put out the conflict. But so far, the answer in nowhere to be found. Putin’s office in negating all the allegations which are thrown towards them. As the deadline for the answer was due until Tuesday, now it is May’s turn to fulfill the promise.
Now people are wondering, whether the murder of Skripal, who used to be an informant for the British special services, will lead to termination of diplomatic relations between the nations.
