7 motivationsl answers to the "WHYs" of trading
Motivation. That is the only thing that can help us stay in trading no matter the circumstance. And we need to understand our precise motivation in order to strive for even more success.
Sometimes the motivation is lost on us and we need something to keep us going besides just pure interest. And if you are looking for motivation I am super-ready to give it to you right now.
“Why should I keep on trading?”, “Why do I need to be successful?” “Why am I staying in trading?”. Here are the seven answer to the “WHYs” of trading.
1. You need to be successful to provide.
2. You want to spoil yourself.
3. You are earning respect.
4. You need the money for your own projects.
5. You want to see your own potential.
6. You want your kids to be aware of money.
7. You support your own interest.
1. You need to be successful to provide.
For a lot of people who have been in trading long enough it has become something of a job – they provide for their families with trading. ad you can too. And maybe you already do. So, there is your answer right there. You need to provide a certain living level for you and your family. Good answer?
2. You want to spoil yourself.
That one goes for those who love to indulge themselves. You are not only earning for your family, but you are also earning so that you can afford a nice restaurant, good clothes, a new car and soon. And yes, as traders you are going to be able to afford all of this stuff but only if you play your cards right, develop a good trading plan and have perfect trading signals.
3. You are earning respect.
Let’s face it – trading is not easy. Trading can be hard. And trading requires a lot of extremely specific knowledge. And all that adds up to the fact that people are really going to be wowed by your trading skills. And every now and then we need to indulge our inner vanity – we have reached a certain level and acquired certain knowledge to be successful. Why can’t we boast about it?
4. You need the money for your own projects.
A lot of us came into trading in order to make some extra money. That means that we are still keeping our day job and trade as a hobby. But that is a hobby with one particular aim – to make extra money. And in case you need the money to invest into your dream business or to move your dream further along you need to keep that motivation close to the heart.
5. You want to see your own potential.
You and your potential are the only things which are going to be with you your entire life. And maybe you need that potential fulfilled outside of your office or your cubicle. And trading is a great way to do that. After all, in trading there is only you and your asset. Nothing else.
6. You want your kids to be aware of money.
Teaching children about earning is an essential part of the bringing up process. And for a lot of kids out there the process of earning is something akin to magic, meaning they have no idea how to do that until they start working themselves. And that can take years of non-respective behavior towards money you make for them. But seeing you trade, there is a chance your kids are going to see and understand that money does not fall from the sky – you need to work hard for it.
7. You support your own interest.
We need to face it – you haven’t gotten into trading just because you had to. You got in because you were interested in the process and extra earnings. And your personal interest is something to support and be supported. Of course, you can lose some of the flame along the way, but remembering your own interest and all of the motivation you are going to strive for more and more success.
