Today's Hot Assets: GBP, CAD , USD , gold

 

After meeting minutes U.S. stocks fluctuated investors digested the information . ADP employment figure and Initial applications for unemployment both came out higher than expected , but investors seemed hesitant before today's NFP figure , so that the market lacked direction . At the end of the session, U.S. stocks were little changed , the S & P 500 rose 0.03 % and the Dow Jones fell by 0.11 % . Chinese trade balance came out lower than expected by adding the weaker data we have seen in China . After releasing stocks were mostly lower , but at the end of the session, as positive attention turned to Grant , the Nikkei closed 0.2 % higher and the Hang Seng closed 0.32 % higher .

 

WTI fell after data showed an increase in product distillate and gasoline stocks . Price during the Asian session following positive Chinese import data rebounded slightly . Continued unrest in Libya also supports an increase . Gold price rises as a result of increased physical demand , but gains may be limited. Nonfarm Payroll report will be published at 13:30 ( GMT ) and, if positive , may cause the price to fall .
